About Falkirk Distillery

Falkirk now has two distilleries — the reopened Rosebank (a major heritage project) and the newer Falkirk Distillery, a smaller operation producing gin and maturing whisky. The two represent different approaches to Lowland distilling in the same town: Rosebank is resurrection and heritage, Falkirk Distillery is startup and experimentation. The gin is the current commercial product while the whisky matures. Worth visiting alongside Rosebank for a compare-and-contrast of old and new Lowland distilling philosophy.
