One of Scotland's newest distilleries, based in East Kilbride on the south side of Glasgow. Jackton represents the ongoing Lowland distilling revival — a small-scale operation producing new-make spirit that won't reach whisky age for several years. Currently producing gin while the whisky matures. The location makes it one of the most accessible distilleries from Glasgow city centre, reachable by train and a short taxi.
Jackton is a small East Renfrewshire distillery near East Kilbride — one of Scotland's newer craft operations producing single malt in the Lowland tradition. A quiet, local operation without the profile of the major new craft distilleries but producing competent, accessible whisky for the growing central Scotland craft spirits scene.
