Jackton represents the ongoing Lowland distilling revival — a small-scale operation whose first spirit ran in February 2020. Its inaugural RAER single malt was previewed in January 2026, with general release slated for autumn 2026. The location makes it one of the most accessible distilleries from Glasgow city centre, reachable by train and a short taxi.
